Portuguese progressive/alternative metallers Blame Zeus have revealed a new single, “Bloodstained Hands,” from their third album, Seethe, available today via Rockshots Records. Listen to “Bloodstained Hands” HERE.
“‘Bloodstained Hands’ is about regret,” the band explains. “Feeling like you can’t go back from the choices you make, and so you must face up to them and to your mistakes. It expresses the despair of looking for a way out, but also the relief of coming clean.”
With influences that range from progressive metal to alternative rock, Blame Zeus‘ music can be described as an intense and heavy rock with intimate and nostalgic ballads.

Los Angeles, CA – Multi-platinum rock band, Angels & Airwaves, have announced a new batch of North American winter tour dates. The first leg kicks off on Wednesday, December 4 and hits major cities including Phoenix, Chicago, Minneapolis, Houston, and more. After a short holiday break, the trek picks back up on Thursday, January 16 for a run of shows throughout Canada and the East Coast. The band will also be playing KROQ Acoustic Christmas at the Honda Center in Anaheim on Saturday, December 7. Earlier this week, Angels & Airwaves revealed the official music video for their latest song, “Kiss & Tell.” “So many issues in relationships revolve around needless miscommunication, and just missing each other’s point of view. This video represents how a few small negative moments between lovers can easily grow into much more destructive interactions over time,” explains frontman Tom DeLonge. Watch the new visual HERE.
Angels & Airwaves have also been working on their much-anticipated sixth full-length studio album, which is slated for release next year via Rise Records / BMG. About Angels & Airwaves:
DeLonge, a founding member of seminal pop punk band blink-182, formed Angels & Airwaves in 2005. A year later came debut album, We Don’t Need To Whisper, which hit No. 4 on The Billboard 200 and featured Top 5 modern rock hit “The Adventure.” 2007’s I-Empire followed, hitting No. 9 on The Billboard 200 and featured rock radio hit “Everything’s Magic.” In 2010, AVA released Love and a year later, Love: Part Two accompanied by a critically acclaimed film,Love, which was shown in 460 theaters nationwide during a one-night film screening and live-streamed concert event titled Love Live. Hailing from Hollywood, CA via Juarez, Mexico, METALACHI is a musical/comedy stage show that somehow seamlessly blends the world of Spinal Tap and Cheech & Chong into an over-the-top stage spectacle. The band is comprised of a five-piece ensemble of classically trained mariachi musician siblings, that have been fused together with the power of heavy metal. New Album METAL GALAXY to Release Oct. 11
Their third album METAL GALAXY was announced in June this year, along with with a new track “PA PA YA!!” featuring Thai rapper F.HERO, and dropped a video for it on July 1 (watch the video below).
BABYMETAL’s first release of the year was “Elevator Girl” via Cooking Vinyl. The single was the first piece of music since METAL RESISTANCE EPISODE VII, the episode that sparked a new era of BABYMETAL where the FOX GOD sent the band on a darker path, which manifests in the darker tone of the new material as heard on “Elevator Girl.”
METAL GALAXY is to be released October 11 via BABYMETAL RECORDS / Cooking Vinyl. The album, aptly titled after a fictional place within the BABYMETAL universe, is about an odyssey the band must take to the METAL GALAXY, a trajectory thrust upon them by the FOX GOD. Each song brings them closer to their desired destination starting with their previously released “Elevator Girl”, “Distortion” and “PA PA YA!!”
Recorded over the weekend at their Yokohama Arena in front of 17,000 people, the video for “PA PA YA!!” features the same incredible production set up the band brought to the US dates this summer.

In the 3 years since the release of their last album, 2016’s METAL RESISTANCE, the band has achieved an insurmountable amount of success around the world with hundreds of millions of audio streams, and almost a billion YouTube views. They played to 110,000 people over the course of two nights at the massive TOKYO DOME, supported Red Hot Chili Peppers on their UK/US arena tour along with additional support slots with Metallica in South Korean and Guns N’ Roses in Japan. They continued their success in the US as they embarked on a full national US headline tour that started September 4, culminating in the band’s first headline arena show in North America at The Forum in Los Angeles on October 11. After a crowdfunding campaign that far exceeded the goal, symphonic/Celtic vocal goddess Leah has revealed that her upcoming winter-themed album,Ancient Winter, will officially see release on November 15.
Says Leah, “Now that the crowdfunding campaign is complete, I’m really excited to focus on the release of this album in November. My closest colleagues have told me this album might be some of my best work yet. Regardless, I hope this new music will make the coming winter season much more magical.”
Ancient Winter features eight tracks – five of which are originals and three traditional century medieval songs that Leah puts her own unique touch on. The album offers a slight departure from Leah‘s traditional symphonic metal into a more atmospheric, ethereal sound. It is a more earthy sounding album filled with new instrumentation such as fiddles and uilleann pipes, which give it a beautiful harmony of middle eastern feeling and Celtic folk and fantasy. Ancient Winter proves Leah‘s ability to venture into musical realms beyond metal.
Ancient Winter represents a new approach to holiday music as it celebrates winter themes in a way that is sure to give it a wider appeal. This is not simply a “Christmas album” but rather an emotional journey into transcendent ideals that will inspire any listener from anywhere.

For Ancient Winter, Leah tapped a top-notch talent cast of musicians, including Troy Donockley (Nightwish), Anna Murphy (Cellar Darling), Shir-Ran Yinon (Eluveitie), Oliver Philipps (Everon, Phantasma) and renowned string musician Rupert Gillett. This diverse lineup adds an international flavor to the album alongside Leah‘s beautiful vocals.

About Leah:
Leah has amassed a generous and dedicated fanbase that has allowed her to crowdfund three of her five recordings without the assistance of a record label. Leah‘s first four albums, Of Earth and Angels (2012), Otherworld (2013), Kings & Queens (2015), and The Quest (2018) are a rapturous blend of a symphonic metal style carefully spiced with Celtic, folk and fantasy. Her emotive vocals are often compared to Loreena McKennitt, Tori Amos and Sarah McLachlan.
Leah – described affectionately by her fans as “the metal Enya” – hails from the coast of British Columbia, Canada, and is inspired by Celtic and world music influences such as Clannad and Enya to European symphonic and progressive metal influences.
