To celebrate tonight’s tour kick-off, horror obsessed provocateurs Death Valley High have surprised fans with a new song, “Raise Hell,” available today. Watch the video for the track now via Revolver HERE.
“I got sick of hearing the misuse of the term ‘witch hunt’ and the ignorance just throwing it around. I started to imagine a scenario bridging physical and metaphysical uproar,” says frontman Reyka Osburn. “‘Raise hell’ usually means to rebel rouse, but in this instance, I actually mean to devil rouse.”
The “Raise Hell” single is currently available exclusively via BandcampHERE.
Death Valley High begins a nine-date west coast tour with electro-industrial outfit Silver Snakes tonight in San Francisco.
Death Valley High released a new EP entitled Duel this past summer via Minus Head Records. The band has described Duel as a sort of modern-day mix tape that defies the rules of a conventional release. While the first half of the record features covers, the latter half is an offering of intense remixes, lending to the record’s name. Each song on Duel features a special guest, including Chino Moreno (Deftones), Spirit in the Room, Chris Connelly and more, each of whom was challenged – along with Death Valley High themselves – to venture outside of their comfort zone.
Check out the video for the Christian Death cover “Cavity – First Communion,” featuring Chino Moreno HERE.
Swerving between the sarcastic and the saccharine, Death Valley High deliver doom pop and death disco of the highest order. Outburn heralded them as the “New Face of Goth Rock,” while UK tastemaker Kerrang! advised fans of Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails to take note. But where most macabre music-makers craft anthems for the grave, Death Valley High make songs to wake the dead. These guys don’t dwell in melancholy; this is a funeral procession to dance to. Universal monsters, Hammer films and haunted houses collide within their sonic psyche, earning them coveted spots on tours with likeminded rabble-rousers like Killing Joke, Combichrist, Crosses, Powerman 5000, and Orgy. Death Valley High turns convention on its head, with unapologetic distaste for conformity and a tongue-in-cheek whimsy. Death Valley High is unmistakably important, conjuring New Romantic majesty for the modern age.
Italian symphonic power metal band Ravenword has unleashed “No More,” first single from their one-time studio album, Transcendence, out January 31 via Rockshots Records.
Vocalist Chiara Tricarico comments: “This song is a classical power metal track with a beautiful piano part and a super-fast solo.”
The track features Davide Lovecchio as special guest on the lead guitar.
“No More” is available as digital single at all major online stores, paired with an official audio track on YouTube.
Transcendence is now available for pre-order at the Rockshots Records’ official store. Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s novel The Raven, the Milan, Italy, based band was originally formed in 2007 by keyboardist and composer Davide Scuteri (Choirs Of Veritas). After several years of activity, which included a self-titled demo, the band went on a brief hiatus, re-grouping in 2016 when singer Chiara Tricarico (Sound Storm, Moonlight Haze), drummer Michele Olmi (Chronosfear, Skeleeton) and bass/guitar player Cesare Ferrari (Choirs Of Veritas) joined the band, in order to create a one-time studio album that embodies the whole history of the band.
With Transcendence, Ravenword captures the romantic and decadent poetic themes typical of Edgar Allan Poe’s period, combined with an equally decadent symphonic metal sound. In line with Ravenword’s ode to poetry, the title Transcendence was chosen to symbolize the idea of always going beyond one’s perception of reality and seeking deeper meanings.

Newly signed to Better Noise Music, they’ve garnered 22 top 10, hit singles over the last few years.
Today, Five Finger Death Punch also premiered the debut single from F8, “Inside Out” one of the most personal songs that the band has released to date. Watch the official lyric video HERE.

We didn’t just weather the storm but came out on the other side better than ever. It was a focused sober group recording, our most important album to date and without a question it shows.”
“This album represents rebirth, progression, transcendence both personally and musically.” Vocalist Ivan Moody adds, “This record to me is ‘absolution’ – everything I’ve done in my life has led up to this moment.”
F8 was produced by Five Finger Death Punch with long time producer Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Disturbed, Slash, etc). See the full tracklisting for F8 below.

The new album F8 follows Five Finger Death Punch’s hugely successful 2018 release, And Justice For None, which debuted in the Top 5 around the world and became the #1 streaming Hard Rock/Heavy Metal album of that year. They’ve built a rabid, global fan base by creating a unique sound that blurs the line between rock and metal, which has never been more apparent than on their upcoming eighth studio album F8 and their upward trajectory doesn’t seem to waver.

Los Angeles, CA — Transcendent, two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band, Evanescence, has returned with their first new rock recording in eight years, “The Chain (From Gears 5).” Listen HERE.
The band recorded their signature-rock version of the Fleetwood Mac classic following lead singer Amy Lee having lent her vocals to the launch trailer for Xbox Game Studios’ Gears 5 for Xbox One, Windows 10, and Steam, from the massively popular Gears of War series. The spot aired as part of a multi-million-dollar ad campaign this fall in conjunction with the launch of the game. Watch it HERE.
Gears 5 was Microsoft’s most successful video game launch since Halo 4 in 2012.
Amy Lee firmly re-establishes herself as one of rock’s pre-eminent vocalists, exhibiting an impressive range that still packs a wallop” –Variety
“The Chain” is the first release in what is expected to be a very active period for Evanescence. Following their critically acclaimed foray into symphonic music with 2017’s Synthesisalbum and world tour, the five-piece has reemerged by embracing a heavier sound, albeit with their trademark style that has made Evanescence integral in establishing a global, critical mass in rock, and among the most unique artists of the millennium. The band is currently working on new original music, which will start rolling out in 2020 in advance of their next studio album. Stay tuned for more details to come.
“This cover was so fun to make. We love Fleetwood Mac and wanted to paint a dark and epic picture with our take on ‘The Chain,’” says Amy Lee. “The lyrics make me feel the power of standing together against great forces trying to pull us apart, perhaps even from the inside. I really wanted to drive that home in our version, and even made everyone in the band sing by the end of it! We’re beyond excited to share this with our fans and I’m really looking forward to playing it live.”
At the end of the month, Evanescence will be heading to Mexico City to play Knotfest, followed by an appearance at Download Festival in Tokyo on March 29, 2020. After a short break, the group will be heading out on a massive co-headline tour of Europe and the U.K. with Within Temptation. The new batch of dates kicks off on April 4 in Brussels, Belgium and concludes in Birmingham, U.K. on May 1. Evanescence will also return to the U.S. shortly thereafter for a headline show at The Fillmore in Minneapolis, MN on May 14. All tickets are on sale now and can be purchased on the band’s official website HERE.

Rivals brand new 2-song, 7″ EP Supernova was released today via Smartpunk RecordsHERE and is available on streaming services as well. Listen HERE. The title track has already received over 53k streams on Spotify alone. “We’ve really started to step up the creativity with sounds and environments,” describes Rivals vocalist Kalie Wolfe. “Building and creating a world around a theme and trying to show everyone what we see and feel. Between Supernova and “Thunderstorm“, we really stepped out of our comfort zone for this.”
“I’ve always wanted to write a song that was like ‘what’s up b@*%#*$, were back’ and that’s what ‘Thunderstorm‘ is,” explains Wolfe of their new single “Thunderstorm.” “For those who doubted us, said we wouldn’t last or said we couldn’t make it. For the doubt in our own hearts throughout the last two years and how we pulled our own ‘guns’ out to really pushed our way through all of that doubt. We became our own heros and I’m proud as hell of us for what we’ve accomplished in the past few years. ‘Thunderstorm‘ is our fight song.”
Portuguese progressive/alternative metallers Blame Zeus have revealed a new single, “Bloodstained Hands,” from their third album, Seethe, available today via Rockshots Records. Listen to “Bloodstained Hands” HERE.

METALACHI‘s most recent full-length album, Tres, was released late last year and features covers of songs originally performed by artists such as Judas Priest, Dio, Journey, Guns N’ Roses, including METALACHI‘s popular cover of the Queen classic, “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Watch the video for “Bohemian Rhapsody,” featuring a cameo by comedian Felipe Esparza, here:

Hailing from Hollywood, CA via Juarez, Mexico, METALACHI is a musical/comedy stage show that somehow seamlessly blends the world of Spinal Tap and Cheech & Chong into an over-the-top stage spectacle. The band is comprised of a five-piece ensemble of classically trained mariachi musician siblings, that have been fused together with the power of heavy metal. Fans can expect an unlikely meshing of metal classics from artist such as Metallica, Slayer, Ozzy Osbourne and more with traditional mariachi standards from the likes of Vicente Fernandez and Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan… all played with traditional mariachi instrumentation but with a stage show that strays far from traditional!
METALACHI takes their cues from outrageous stage shows like KISS, GWAR and Rob Zombie with outrageous costumes, stage production, personas and onstage antics. The band features Vega De La Rockha on vocals, Queen Kyla Vera on violin, Kiko Cane on guitarron, Paco Halen on guitar, El Cucuy on trumpet and is managed by mysterious impresario Warren Moscow.
METALACHI has garnered worldwide acclaim for their unique brand of raucous humor and innovative musical mastery, quickly amassing a loyal and diverse fan base of music lovers in addition to gaining praise from music royalty such as Dave Lombardo (Slayer), Vinnie Paul (Pantera, Hellyeah), Eric Wilson (Sublime), M. Shadows (Avenged Sevenfold), Billy Idol, and Howard Stern along the way (fun fact – for the past five years, Sublime has used METALACHI‘s debut album Uno to time their set changes, blasting the entire album over the PA at their live shows). On a previous leg of the current tour, METALACHI was personally invited by comedian George Lopez to perform at the grand opening of his Chingon Kitchen at the Vee Quiva Hotel in Arizona.
METALACHI has been featured on America’s Got Talent, CNN’s Great Big Story, Rolling Stone en Español, BBC’s Outlook via NPR, Huffington Post, and National Geographic, and their music has been heard on FX’s The Bridge and in a TV commercial for DirecTV.
METALACHI has been named one of the 10 best Mexican Metal Bands worldwide by OC Weekly, was named #4 on a list of the top 20 tribute bands based in Los Angeles by LA Weekly, and was voted as one of the best live shows in Southern California by Examiner.com.

Five-time Grammy Award-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Green Day unleash their brand new single “Father Of All…,” which is the lead track on their forthcoming thirteenth studio album of the same name, out February 7, 2020 on Reprise / Warner Records.
Formed in 1986 in Berkeley, CA, Green Day is one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time, with more than 70 million records sold worldwide and 10 billion cumulative audio/visual streams. Their 1994 breakout album Dookie, which sold over 10 million and achieved diamond status, is widely credited with popularizing and reviving mainstream interest in punk rock, catapulting a career-long run of #1 hit singles.
Entertainment Weekly calls Green Day, “The most influential band of their generation,” while Rolling Stone attests, “Green Day have inspired more young bands to start than any act this side of KISS, and that doesn’t seem to be changing.”
In 2004, Green Day released the rock opera American Idiot which captured the nation’s attention, selling more than 7 million copies in the U.S. alone and taking home the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. Mojo declared “It’s exhilarating stuff, the kind of record that sets new parameters as to what is possible from a punk rock’n’roll band in the 21st century.”
In 2010, a stage adaptation of American Idiot debuted on Broadway to critical and commercial acclaim and now they’re taking the world stage once again with their new album and Hella Mega global stadium tour. Green Day will also be performing solo dates in 2020- click HERE for all dates.

Fall Out Boy
Multi-platinum selling, Grammy-nominated Fall Out Boy’s new single “Dear Future Self (Hands Up)” ft. Wyclef Jean will be featured on their forthcoming record Greatest Hits: Believers Never Die – Volume Two, out November 15 via Island Records.
The song marks the band’s first new music since the August 2018 release of the three-song Lake Effect Kid EP, a love letter to their hometown city of Chicago that featured the full version of the band’s previously unreleased title track demo along with two new songs “City in A Garden” and “Super Fade.” In January, Fall Out Boy was featured on the gold-certified track “I’ve Been Waiting,” a collaboration from Lil Peep and iLoveMakonnen.
Fall Out Boy’s seventh studio album M A N I A debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 in January 2018 and garnered a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rock Album. Their worldwide tour in support of the record included a hometown show at Wrigley Field.
Multi-platinum, GRAMMY award-winning Weezer’s new single “The End of the Game,” produced by Suzy Shinn, will be included on their forthcoming 14th studio album, entitled Van Weezer, due out in May 2020. The inspiration for this album derives from the deepest roots of Weezer – metal!
What has metal got to do with Weezer, you ask? In his earliest years, Rivers was a huge KISS fan; Brian was a big Black Sabbath fan; Pat worshipped at the altar of Van Halen and Rush; Scott loved Slayer and Metallica. The last time this vein of harder rock was mined by Weezer was on their much-loved 2002 album Maladroit; Van Weezer is primed to take that album’s sonics many steps further courtesy of producer Suzy Shinn.
“The End of the Game” is Weezer’s first new song since this year’s release of Weezer (The Black Album), as well as their covers album, Weezer (The Teal Album), whose streaming numbers have surpassed 100 million. Weezer has sold 10 million albums in the U.S., and over 35 million records worldwide since their debut album’s release in 1994. Their catalogue has included such mega-hits as “Buddy Holly,” “Undone (The Sweater Song),” “Say It Ain’t So,” “El Scorcho,” “Hash Pipe,” “Island In The Sun,” “Beverly Hills,” “Pork and Beans,” and more.
