New Music Video

Disturbed also share a new music video for “Hold on to Memories” directed by Matt Mahurin, who also directed their “Sound of Silence” music video. The video is inspired by the Mexican holiday “Día de Muertos,” a day of remembrance and celebration of loved ones who have passed, with which it shares the sentiment that as long as we keep their memories with us, a piece of them is still alive. Watch the music video for “Hold on to Memorieshere:

The band previously shared their live video for “Hold on to Memories,” directed by Rafa Alcantara. The video captures a moment during Disturbed’s live show where the band perform alongside a video collage of their favorite memories, with photos and videos of their friends and families, both here and gone. Watch the live video for “Hold on to Memorieshere:

Disturbed have continued their record-breaking streak at rock radio, claiming the title of “2019’s Most Played Artists” in the Active Rock format. The band earned their seventh consecutive #1 on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart and Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs Chart with their latest single “No More,” an achievement unmatched by any artist in history. Disturbed have earned ten #1 singles on the chart, including “A Reason To Fight,” the track that initially broke the record earlier this year. “No More” is the third top-charting single from the band’s #1 album, Evolution (Reprise Records).

About Disturbed:

Disturbed are one of the most successful rock bands in modern history. The multiplatinum-selling quartet accomplished the rare feat of achieving five consecutive number one debuts on the Billboard Top 200. That accolade historically elevated them to rarified air alongside Metallica, the only other hard rock group to do so in the history of the chart. Immortalized (2015) received a platinum certification and spawned the triple-platinum crossover smash “The Sound of Silence,” which garnered a nomination at the 2017 GRAMMY® Awards in the category of “Best Rock Performance.

Since their formation in 1996, the band has sold 16 million albums globally and scored twelve No. 1 singles at Active Rock Radio. Their quadruple-platinum 2000 debut, The Sickness, formally announced their arrival as hard rock leaders, with that status solidified by subsequent GRAMMY® Award nominations as well as gold-, platinum- and double platinum-certified records, as well as countless sold-out shows around the globe. Named “Best Rock Artist” during the 2017 iHeartRadioMusic Awards, Disturbed continue to boldly forge ahead with the release of their aptly titled seventh offering, Evolution.

Kane Roberts Announces Director’s Cut of “Beginning of the End,” ft. Alice Cooper, Alissa White-Gluz

Guitarist Kane Roberts has announced a special upcoming director’s cut of his video for the song “Beginning of the End,” featuring appearances by the legendary Alice Cooper and Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz

Watch the original video for “Beginning of the End” here

“Beginning of the End,” which appears on last year’s The New Normal, is a powerful track that required equally powerful voices and personalities to bring it to life.

“When Alice Cooper and Alissa White-Gluz both agreed to be in our ‘Beginning of the End’ video, I was blown away,” Roberts says. “Once the shock wore off, I realized I’d created the perfect storm. There was so much electricity in the air that it was obvious there was no safe place on the set, and the job was to capture it all in camera! As expected, their performances were truly iconic and I believe we created something both original and powerful.”

Alice Cooper and Alissa White-Gluz Comment on Collaboration

Roberts’ musical co-stars were equally enthusiastic about the collaboration on “Beginning of the End”:

“I go out of my way to work with Kane any time I can,” Alice Cooper says. “He’s truly a great guitarist with the brain of THANOS!”

Adds Alissa Gluz-White, “Working with Kane for ‘The Beginning of the End’ was interesting and challenging. To establish oneself in a song alongside Alice Cooper is no easy task! I feel we created a narrative in the song that just begged for a storybook type of video, so we got together and did that too!”

Most widely known for his work with Alice Cooper the mid to late ‘80s, Roberts’ studied Contemporary Music and Liberal Arts/Humanities at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Roberts’ resume includes a variety of work with high-profile artists including Rod Stewart, Alice Cooper, Steve VaiDesmond ChildKISSDiane WarrenBerlinGuns N’ Roses and more. He has also written and/or recorded music for films such as Light SleeperPenelope Spheeris’ Decline of Western CivilizationFriday the 13th IV Jason Lives, and John Carpenter’s Prince of Darkness

In addition to his musical career, Roberts has in acted in several films, including Wes Craven’s Shocker and John Carpenter’s Prince of Darkness. Along with director Mike Goedecke, Roberts also created a rollercoaster of a sci-fi short film, Embryo, which features an engaging story, stunning special effects and evocative soundtrack.

The Venomous Pinks Release New Single: Cover of Joan Jett & The Blackhearts’ “I Want You”

“From poppy sensibilities to heavy riffs, the new new track “I Want You” from The Venomous Pinks is the perfect soundtrack to your weekend.”- New Noise Magazine

Check out the video, starring dominatrixes Soma Snakeoil and Lady Scorpius here:

Guitarist and vocalist Drea Doll says, “I Want You is an in-your-face, unapologetic, punk rendition of Joan Jett & the Blackhearts’ timeless classic. We set out to infuse our unique style and uncontrived attitude to change up the cover while lovingly nodding to its original roots.”

About The Venomous Pinks

If members of Bikini Kill and TSOL musically collided in a Russ Myer movie, the soundtrack scoring the scene would be orchestrated by The Venomous Pinks. Hailing from Mesa, Arizona the three-piece trio creates an unapologetically, uniquely addictive, in-your-face punk sound, that instantly makes the soul hurt so good, you can’t help but yearn for more.

Newly signed to Die Laughing Records, music is the religion they worship, and their church is the road. Having formed in 2012, they have blasted their way from the garage and into the spotlight, shredding the stage with some of punk rock’s finest bands, such as: Bad Religion, Iggy Pop, Anti-Flag, The Bouncing Souls, just to name a few. Even though they have been touring all over the country, they have street cred to back them since their loyalty to their local roots runs deep.

“The Venomous Pinks are a punk band. Not a “girl” band or a “chick” band, but a punk band.”- New Times

Evanescence Releases Powerful Music Video for “The Chain (from Gears 5)”

Los Angeles, CA – Transcendent, two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band, Evanescence, has released the official music video for their first new rock recording in eight years, “The Chain (From Gears 5).” Directed by frequent collaborator, P.R. Brown (My Chemical Romance, John Mayer, Green Day), the piece blends powerful, epic performance visuals with footage from the launch trailer for Xbox Game Studios’ Gears 5 from the massively popular Gears of War franchise. To emulate the aesthetic of Gears 5, a miniature set was constructed for the music video that parallels the dystopian environment of the game. Watch it HERE, and listen to the song on all digital streaming platforms HERE

“The lyrics make me feel the power of standing together against great forces trying to pull us apart, perhaps even from the inside. I really wanted to drive that home in our version,” lead singer Amy Lee elaborates.

P.R. Brown adds, “The goal of the video is to show the bond of this band as they deliver a powerful take on a classic song. The tie in with Gears 5 presented an opportunity to combine the game world together with the band performance in a post-apocalyptic setting. The band emerges from the ashes to come together. We wanted to bring these worlds together and feel both the force of the band and the game.”

Evanescence unveiled their signature-rock version of the Fleetwood Mac classic in November, following Lee having lent her vocals to the Gears 5 launch trailer. The spot aired as part of a multi-million-dollar ad campaign in the fall in conjunction with the launch of the game. Watch it HERE. In addition, Gears 5 set new records as the biggest launch for any Xbox Game Studios game this generation.

Death Valley High Reveals New Surprise Single and Video

To celebrate tonight’s tour kick-off, horror obsessed provocateurs Death Valley High have surprised fans with a new song, “Raise Hell,” available today. Watch the video for the track now via Revolver HERE.

“I got sick of hearing the misuse of the term ‘witch hunt’ and the ignorance just throwing it around. I started to imagine a scenario bridging physical and metaphysical uproar,” says frontman Reyka Osburn. “‘Raise hell’ usually means to rebel rouse, but in this instance, I actually mean to devil rouse.”

The “Raise Hell” single is currently available exclusively via Bandcamp HERE.

Death Valley High begins a nine-date west coast tour with electro-industrial outfit Silver Snakes tonight in San Francisco.

Death Valley High released a new EP entitled Duel this past summer via Minus Head Records. The band has described Duel as a sort of modern-day mix tape that defies the rules of a conventional release. While the first half of the record features covers, the latter half is an offering of intense remixes, lending to the record’s name. Each song on Duel features a special guest, including Chino Moreno (Deftones), Spirit in the Room, Chris Connelly and more, each of whom was challenged – along with Death Valley High themselves – to venture outside of their comfort zone.

Check out the video for the Christian Death cover “Cavity – First Communion,” featuring Chino Moreno HERE.

Swerving between the sarcastic and the saccharine, Death Valley High deliver doom pop and death disco of the highest order. Outburn heralded them as the “New Face of Goth Rock,” while UK tastemaker Kerrang! advised fans of Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails to take note. But where most macabre music-makers craft anthems for the grave, Death Valley High make songs to wake the dead. These guys don’t dwell in melancholy; this is a funeral procession to dance to. Universal monsters, Hammer films and haunted houses collide within their sonic psyche, earning them coveted spots on tours with likeminded rabble-rousers like Killing Joke, Combichrist, Crosses, Powerman 5000, and Orgy. Death Valley High turns convention on its head, with unapologetic distaste for conformity and a tongue-in-cheek whimsy. Death Valley High is unmistakably important, conjuring New Romantic majesty for the modern age.

Death Valley High Tour Dates With Silver Snakes:

  • 1/3 – San Francisco, CA @ Bottom of the Hill
  • 1/4 – Portland, OR @ Twilight
  • 1/5 – Seattle, WA @ Funhouse
  • 1/7 – Eugene, OR @ Old Nick’s
  • 1/8 – Reno, NV @ Jub Jubs
  • 1/9 – Sacramento, CA @ Holy Diver
  • 1/10 – Las Vegas, NV @ Backstage Bar & Billiards
  • 1/11 – Los Angeles, CA @ 5 Star Bar

Jetty Bones Sign to Rise Records and Share Official Music Video for “the part:”

Los Angeles, CA — Rise Records is excited to announce that Jetty Bones, the musical project led by Ohio-based musician, Kelc Galluzzo, has joined their roster of artists. In celebration of the news, the band has shared a new music video for their single, “the part:”, a standout song from their third EP, – (pronounced “hyphen”), which debuted earlier this year via Take This To Heart Records. Stream/download the effort HERE, and watch the new visual HERE. Jetty Bones is also currently working on new music, expected next year on Rise.

Kelc has a message for Jetty Bones fans about this announcement and next chapter in the band’s career: “Growing up in Ohio, we used to have this local scene saying about how the dream was to ‘live in Ohio, start a band, then sign to Rise Records.’ Well, 12 years later, I finally get to say that those teenage dreams are a reality: Jetty Bones has officially signed to Rise and will be putting out a full-length record next year. As the final piece of the – era, here’s a music video and a promise to keep building this community around support and vulnerability as a part of the Rise family. Thank you for reminding me that fighting for passion, recovery, and the strength to help others has not been in vain. I don’t know if I can ever find the words to accurately explain how much I needed all of you (and still do), but I’m going to try my best for as long as you let me.”

Channeling the band’s namesake, Betty Jones, who broke out of her all girls’ Catholic school to remove herself from a situation where she wasn’t happy, Jetty Bones exists to encourage people to rise above everyday situations and push for a life with better meaning.

“The sound of an artist totally in control over her craft and her story.” –Chorus.fm

The group’s 2017 EP, Old Women, was a story of progress, growth, and the development of human connection – something often overlooked today. In a world so focused on outward appearances, Old Women takes you on a journey through one girl’s mental and emotional attempts to attach to something in a more genuine way, that something being other people. Its brisk, contemplative follow up, – (pronounced “hyphen”), is a bridge between Kelc’s journey to healthier interpersonal bonds and a future colored by close friends, As Jetty Bones still functions with Kelc’s crystal clear delivery and racing thoughts at its center and a network of trusted musicians bouncing in the margins, – is a testament to the artist’s growth, depth, and warmth.

Currently on Tour in the U.S. With New Found Glory

Jetty Bones is also currently on tour in the U.S. supporting New Found Glory, along with Hawthorne Heights and Free Throw. The remaining run of dates continues tonight in Lancaster, PA at Chameleon Club and wraps next week at Saturn in Birmingham, AL on November 26. The single was the first piece of music since METAL RESISTANCE EPISODE VII,  the episode that sparked a new era of BABYMETAL where the FOX GOD sent the band on a darker path, which manifests in the darker tone of the new material as heard on “Elevator Girl.”

METAL GALAXY is to be released October 11 via BABYMETAL RECORDS / Cooking Vinyl. The album, aptly titled after a fictional place within the BABYMETAL universe, is about an odyssey the band must take to the METAL GALAXY, a trajectory thrust upon them by the FOX GOD. Each song brings them closer to their desired destination starting with their previously released “Elevator Girl”, “Distortion” and “PA PA YA!!”

Recorded over the weekend at their Yokohama Arena in front of 17,000 people, the video for “PA PA YA!!” features the same incredible production set up the band brought to the US dates this summer.

In the 3 years since the release of their last album, 2016’s METAL RESISTANCE, the band has achieved an insurmountable amount of success around the world with hundreds of millions of audio streams, and almost a billion YouTube views. They played to 110,000 people over the course of two nights at the massive TOKYO DOME, supported Red Hot Chili Peppers on their UK/US arena tour along with additional support slots with Metallica in South Korean and Guns N’ Roses in Japan. They continued their success in the US as they embarked on a full national US headline tour that started September 4,  culminating in the band’s first headline arena show in North America at The Forum in Los Angeles on October 11.
