“We’ve really started to step up the creativity with sounds and environments,” describes Wolfe. “Building and creating a world around a theme and trying to show everyone what we see and feel. Between “Supernova” and “Thunderstorms,” we really stepped out of our comfort zone for this.”
In addition, The band revealed their motion video for “Supernova” that captures the atmospheric textures of the music. “A long time ago I dumped a guy and later on, when my career started to take off, he tried to come back into my life,” explains Rivals vocalist Kalie Wolfe of their new single “Supernova“. “I sort of wrote this as a f*ck you song to him, that he won’t get me now after all the stuff between us happened.”
In support of their forthcoming EP, the band will be kicking off a run of dates with Slaves today in Dallas, TX. Their double outing with Slaves will be making stops throughout Texas (Dallas, San Antonio, Houston). Also, they’ll be joining back up on release day (November 8th) for a few more shows that includes three dates in California (Sacramento, Fresno, Los Angeles) and the final show of the tour at Club Red in Mesa, AZ.
Simple Creatures have released their much-anticipated sophomore EP, Everything Opposite, today via BMG, which is available to stream and download HERE. Earlier this week, “One Little Lie,” a standout track from the EP, was exclusively premiered on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show with Dan P. Carter. Listen HERE.
Additionally, Simple Creatures, have just announced that they’ll be playing two intimate shows in Southern California next month. Tickets go on sale at 10am PT on Friday, October 18 and can be purchased on the band’s website HERE.

New Album METAL GALAXY to Release Oct. 11
Their third album METAL GALAXY was announced in June this year, along with with a new track “PA PA YA!!” featuring Thai rapper F.HERO, and dropped a video for it on July 1 (watch the video below).
BABYMETAL’s first release of the year was “Elevator Girl” via Cooking Vinyl. The single was the first piece of music since METAL RESISTANCE EPISODE VII, the episode that sparked a new era of BABYMETAL where the FOX GOD sent the band on a darker path, which manifests in the darker tone of the new material as heard on “Elevator Girl.”
METAL GALAXY is to be released October 11 via BABYMETAL RECORDS / Cooking Vinyl. The album, aptly titled after a fictional place within the BABYMETAL universe, is about an odyssey the band must take to the METAL GALAXY, a trajectory thrust upon them by the FOX GOD. Each song brings them closer to their desired destination starting with their previously released “Elevator Girl”, “Distortion” and “PA PA YA!!”
Recorded over the weekend at their Yokohama Arena in front of 17,000 people, the video for “PA PA YA!!” features the same incredible production set up the band brought to the US dates this summer.

In the 3 years since the release of their last album, 2016’s METAL RESISTANCE, the band has achieved an insurmountable amount of success around the world with hundreds of millions of audio streams, and almost a billion YouTube views. They played to 110,000 people over the course of two nights at the massive TOKYO DOME, supported Red Hot Chili Peppers on their UK/US arena tour along with additional support slots with Metallica in South Korean and Guns N’ Roses in Japan. They continued their success in the US as they embarked on a full national US headline tour that started September 4, culminating in the band’s first headline arena show in North America at The Forum in Los Angeles on October 11. Tickets and VIP packages for remaining dates on-sale here.

Boston – Bent Knee, the Boston-based band Consequence of Sound said are “truly the definition of experimentalism,” release the graphically-rich video for “Bone Rage”, from the band’s forthcoming album, You Know What They Mean (Oct. 11, InsideOutMusic). Watch “Bone Rage” HERE.
“’Bone Rage’ is a song that makes concert halls shake and expectations collapse,” explains guitar player Ben Levin, who also directed the video. “It seemed fitting to make its video full of destruction and solid objects taking on unanticipated forms. The visuals pull you through like you’re handcuffed to a firetruck, but I think you’ll be grateful for the workout when it’s over.”
Bent Knee previously released a video for “Hold Me In”, which Brooklyn Vegan said of: “Singer Courtney Swain is a true powerhouse —she can belt it like Whitney Houston while staying as eccentric as Kate Bush — and she and the rest of the band provide ‘Hold Me In’ with an atmospheric, constantly shapeshifting backdrop that could fit in nicely next to stuff like Radiohead or Porcupine Tree.” Watch “Hold Me In” HERE.
The “Bone Rage” video follows news that the band will be joining Thank you Scientist for a five-week North American tour this Fall (begins Nov. 7).

Five-time Grammy Award-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Green Day unleash their brand new single “Father Of All…,” which is the lead track on their forthcoming thirteenth studio album of the same name, out February 7, 2020 on Reprise / Warner Records.
Formed in 1986 in Berkeley, CA, Green Day is one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time, with more than 70 million records sold worldwide and 10 billion cumulative audio/visual streams. Their 1994 breakout album Dookie, which sold over 10 million and achieved diamond status, is widely credited with popularizing and reviving mainstream interest in punk rock, catapulting a career-long run of #1 hit singles.
Entertainment Weekly calls Green Day, “The most influential band of their generation,” while Rolling Stone attests, “Green Day have inspired more young bands to start than any act this side of KISS, and that doesn’t seem to be changing.”
In 2004, Green Day released the rock opera American Idiot which captured the nation’s attention, selling more than 7 million copies in the U.S. alone and taking home the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. Mojo declared “It’s exhilarating stuff, the kind of record that sets new parameters as to what is possible from a punk rock’n’roll band in the 21st century.”
In 2010, a stage adaptation of American Idiot debuted on Broadway to critical and commercial acclaim and now they’re taking the world stage once again with their new album and Hella Mega global stadium tour. Green Day will also be performing solo dates in 2020- click HERE for all dates.

Multi-platinum selling, Grammy-nominated Fall Out Boy’s new single “Dear Future Self (Hands Up)” ft. Wyclef Jean will be featured on their forthcoming record Greatest Hits: Believers Never Die – Volume Two, out November 15 via Island Records.
The song marks the band’s first new music since the August 2018 release of the three-song Lake Effect Kid EP, a love letter to their hometown city of Chicago that featured the full version of the band’s previously unreleased title track demo along with two new songs “City in A Garden” and “Super Fade.” In January, Fall Out Boy was featured on the gold-certified track “I’ve Been Waiting,” a collaboration from Lil Peep and iLoveMakonnen.
Fall Out Boy’s seventh studio album M A N I A debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 in January 2018 and garnered a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rock Album. Their worldwide tour in support of the record included a hometown show at Wrigley Field.
Multi-platinum, GRAMMY award-winning Weezer’s new single “The End of the Game,” produced by Suzy Shinn, will be included on their forthcoming 14th studio album, entitled Van Weezer, due out in May 2020. The inspiration for this album derives from the deepest roots of Weezer – metal!
What has metal got to do with Weezer, you ask? In his earliest years, Rivers was a huge KISS fan; Brian was a big Black Sabbath fan; Pat worshipped at the altar of Van Halen and Rush; Scott loved Slayer and Metallica. The last time this vein of harder rock was mined by Weezer was on their much-loved 2002 album Maladroit; Van Weezer is primed to take that album’s sonics many steps further courtesy of producer Suzy Shinn.
“The End of the Game” is Weezer’s first new song since this year’s release of Weezer (The Black Album), as well as their covers album, Weezer (The Teal Album), whose streaming numbers have surpassed 100 million. Weezer has sold 10 million albums in the U.S., and over 35 million records worldwide since their debut album’s release in 1994. Their catalogue has included such mega-hits as “Buddy Holly,” “Undone (The Sweater Song),” “Say It Ain’t So,” “El Scorcho,” “Hash Pipe,” “Island In The Sun,” “Beverly Hills,” “Pork and Beans,” and more.

Biography
Bella Lune is an electronic/darkwave/dreampop band and dark alternative DJ duo that formed in 2007 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. They have performed on three continents and released six full length studio albums. The band incorporates elements of electronic, post-punk, indie, synthpop, trip hop, shoegaze, and ethereal music to create a dreamlike trance throughout their sound.
Los Angeles, CA – In anticipation of their long-awaited debut album, State of Mind, The Faim have unveiled the official music video for lead single, “Humans,” today. The cinematic offering dives into the world of science fiction while also highlighting a visually stunning band performance. The video follows the four-piece as they’re taken captive by a government organization and subjected to tests to determine if they are human or android. To escape, they’ll need the help of someone who’s more than human…watch all the action unfold HERE.
“Creating the music video for our latest single, ‘Humans,’ was our favorite shoot to date,” says Stephen Beerkens (bass/keys). “We worked with an amazing team in Los Angeles, who helped capture the entire video in just one day. The concept represents us searching for both our differences and the things we have in common, which also encapsulates the essence of the song: what it means to be human,” he explains.
Following the release of last year’s debut EP, Summer Is a Curse, The Faim wasted no time creating music for their first full-length effort, State of Mind, due on September 13 via BMG. The album includes eight brand new tracks in addition to previously-released singles, “Summer Is a Curse” and “Amelie.” If you were able to catch The Faim on tour in the U.S. earlier this year, you may have also heard them play “Beautiful Drama” and “Infamous,” two additional fan favorites on the record. The complete track listing can be found below. The Faim will also be unveiling more new music soon in advance of the album release. In the meantime, stream “Humans” HERE, and pre-save State of MindHERE.
The Faim will be returning to the U.S. this fall for a massive co-headline tour with fellow Aussie group, Stand Atlantic. Live Nation’s Ones To Watch and The Noise will present the entire run of dates (25 cities nationwide), which launches on September 17 in Houston, TX. The trek continues to build on the quartet’s global touring momentum, where they’ve sold out their own headline shows, played major European festival staples, and supported the likes of PVRIS, Andy Black, Sleeping With Sirens, and more. Tickets are on-sale now and can be purchased on The Faim’s website HERE. A full list of dates is also included below.

Amanda Palmer has shared the official music video for “Drowning In The Sound,” which is lifted from her recently released album There Will Be No Intermission, her first solo record in seven years. The track addresses everything from climate change and the #MeToo movement to fake news, the internet and the American government; a reflection on the turbulent times we’re currently living through.
Directed, produced and edited by Michael Pope, the video stars choreographer Coco Karol who called it “a wish fulfilled to get to continue to make art and do motherhood,” as it gave her an opportunity to continue dancing while seven months pregnant. The symbol of Karol’s pregnant body and the urgency of the video tie to the wider themes of Palmer’s new album There Will Be No Intermission.
Amanda Palmer | Photography: Krys Fox
On the video’s release, Palmer says, “The overwhelming news about climate change, the politics of a woke and devastated internet, the isolation that everybody is feeling right now… how do you make a music video about that? Michael Pope and I have been co-creating video treatments for over fifteen years together, ever since we first sat down to write the treatment for “Girl Anachronism” for The Dresden Dolls, we’ve always bitten off more than we could chew, and this video was no exception. The set of the video itself was a healing space: all of these performers and crew gathered together to try to pull off something sort of impossible on a shoe-string budget. Coco, our choreographer and my new-found friend, was seven months pregnant when we shot the footage, and the whole cast and crew almost revolved around that baby inside her. She and I both experienced painful miscarriages a few years ago, and we took turns carrying each other through the dark. This project was a sort of a healing ritual for us both; and the whole crew and cast wanted this video to feel like the crossroads between brutal hopelessness and passionate hope, which is what everybody seems to be feeling nowadays.”
World Tour Continues This Fall – Tickets on Sale
Following the release of There Will Be No Intermission, Amanda Palmer is currently embarking on her hugely anticipated world tour. The fourteen date UK run kicks off this October, which includes four dates across Ireland and concludes with three nights at London’s Union Chapel this December. The show itself features Palmer on solo piano and ukulele, with no band accompaniment; a night of graphic, honest, and funny storytelling and songs that Palmer claims is her “most human and vulnerable stage-show to date.” See below for a full list of dates. Tickets are available at AmandaPalmer.net.
Acclaimed Album There Will Be No Intermission out Now
There Will Be No Intermission album cover
Out now via 8Ft Records/Cooking Vinyl, There Will Be No Intermission is Palmer’s third solo LP, and it’s the multi-faceted artist’s most powerful and personal collection to date, with songs that tackle the big questions: life, death, grief and how we make sense of it all. While the themes may be dark, the album’s overall sonic and lyrical mood is one of triumphs in the face of life’s most ineffably shitty circumstances. Recorded over a single month in Los Angeles by John Congleton (who previously engineered and produced 2012’s acclaimed Theatre Is Evil), There Will Be No Intermission was entirely crowd-funded, this time by over 15,000 patrons using Palmer’s community hub on Patreon. There Will Be No Intermission is now available in stores and on all DSPs.
“The last seven years have been a relentless parade of grief, joy, birth and death, and all of it has galvanized me to the core: as a writer, as a woman, as an artistic servant,” says Palmer. “I also had no idea that my 15,000 patrons – who held my hand through this entire process – would have the profound effect on my songwriting that they did. Everything feels inseparable now: my crowdfunding through Patreon, the birth of our son, the election of Trump, two abortions, the Kavanuagh hearing, the death of my best friend, being in Ireland for the repeal, the miscarriage I had on Christmas day. I sat in a theater in London and watched Hannah Gadsby decimate the blurred lines between entertainment and naked truth, I saw the brave women of #MeToo standing up against their rapists, and I saw Nick Cave in concert and on record working through his grief using art as a necessary and generous tourniquet that others could re-use. They all reminded me to try harder and harder still to tell the real, unadorned truth. I’ve seen how infectious the darkest truths are, when spoken without shame, and I felt like taking any other path would have been a cop-out.”

In addition to the LP, Palmer has partnered with the collaborative art-team Kahn & Selesnick (along with LA-based photographer Allan Amato and NY-based artist Stephanie Zakas) to create a companion volume with over 60 theatrical photographic portraits taken mostly in and around the upstate New York home Palmer shares with her husband, writer Neil Gaiman. The portfolio – also titled There Will Be No Intermission – is available on her website and will also be sold at her hugely anticipated world tour, which is currently circling theaters throughout the rest of the year and beyond. See full tour details and info on how to buy the album and associated merchandise at AmandaPalmer.net.
Progressive metal’s sensational shred quartet Sifting have revealed a new music video and single for the song “Stop Calling Me Liberty.” The video was directed by Zach Perez at Astral Media. Watch it HERE.
“‘Stop Calling Me Liberty‘ is a song we wrote about The Statue of Liberty.” states front man Eduardo Osuna Gil. “Every day our country is pushed further apart, divided by the partisan politics and nothing gets done for the people. I often think about the Statue of Liberty and how she is a magnificent symbol of liberty and unification watching over our country from Liberty Island. If she could speak to us today, what would she say? I don’t really think she would be pleased. I think she’d be pretty damn pissed off.”
Sifting will release The Infinite Loop on September 27, 2019. The album is a masterpiece of progressive metal featuring 70 minutes of mind-blowing Jedi-like musicianship. It was produced by Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Suicide Silence, Poison the Well), mixed by Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, The Contortionist), and features a special guest performance by Derek Sherinian (Sons of Apollo, Dream Theater).
The band previously revealed a music video from the album for the first single “A Critical Affair,” which surpassed 100,000 views on YouTube in just 2 weeks. “A Critical Affair” was directed by Alejandro Fumero Gil. Watch it HERE.
